Acclaim for Extreme Makeover

The area contractor who recently renovated and expanded the
Associated Dentists office
building, 650 S. Main St., was
recognized for the job with a “Gold Award” in the light commercial category by the national magazine Qualified
Remodeler. Said the magazine
judges: “Both the interior and
the exterior look great. The
interior looks like a hotel lobby
and the fish tank adds a nice
relaxed atmosphere.” The
award-winning contractor is
Braden Construction in
Houlton. Associated Dentists’
partner Dr. Tim Knotek said: “We get many positive comments from our patients. We
were able to fulfill our additional space requirements while
greatly upgrading the aesthetics.” Frisbie Architects of River
Falls designed the addition for
Associated Dentists. The original building is from the 1970s.
Owner Matt Frisbie said he was
pleased the addition has functioned so well for Associated
Dentists and added: “Braden
did a great job and had to go
the extra mile to coordinate
construction so the dentists
could still see patients (while
the building work continued).
We’re honored that a project
we designed received this kind
of recognition.”
